The first BITS tournament has come and gone for Team Kaos (Harlingen). The did well and are training hard for the next one which is scheduled for this month. Rumor has it they are going to try to hit at least one national event this year (more than likely PSP).
Close Encounters has recently carried out a large roster change, adding 2 players from Corpus Christi and a handful from the Valley. They are training hard as well and are doing all they can to prepare for the new seven man league (USPL).

Paintball in the Valley is beginning to pick up again! Teams are practicing as much as possible and it's showing.
Close Encounters has been working to help bring up a new field in Weslaco, Combat Paintball Zone.

The 09 season is getting ready to kick off! That being said, as Adrenaline Rush (Brownsville, Tx) is packing their gear to head off to Phoenix (PSP event) team Kaos (Harlingen, Tx) is gearing up for the newest series from our friends at Paintball Zone in Houston--the Best in Texas Series.
Close Encounters (Valley wide) is rumored to be preparing to particapate in the new seven man series--the USPL--whose first event is set to take place at the beautiful Huntington Beach, Ca.
This new season looks promising!
